5 Figmas. 4 Revoltechs. 1 Nirvash TypeZERO. A battle for the ages. You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this. GENTLEMEN, BEHOLD! You may be aware that I am a (terrible) college student, who is currently taking three business courses online. I’ve been slacking a bit in my studies, but good ol’ Ghostlightning gave me a jump-start of inspiration to make them more interesting! Since my classes involve nothing but reading textbooks anyway, I’ve decided that after each chapter I read, I am going to make a post relating my lessons back to anime, which means I get to blog AND retain facts! Today, we’ll be getting started on my Supervision class, using the knowledge from chapter 1 of Supervision Today! Edition 6. Today’s topic: Finding the Best Supervisor in Evangelion! It’s truly down to the wire as we enter the final three posts in “100 Characters For 100 Otaku!” Has your favorite character shown up yet? If not, don’t fret – while it’s true I may have left them out on purpose, there’s a high chance I have never heard of your favorite character or not seen enough of their work. If there is someone you think I should know about, by all means, recommend them to me as convincingly as you can! Meanwhile, let’s see 15 through 11! The “100 Characters For 100 Otaku” series continues! You know, it’s almost easy to forget that this post series is still a part of the larger “Don’t F This Up” post series. I’m definitely putting my effort into trying not to fuck up, so be sure to call me out at every potential problem, and I’ll edit it right up! Meanwhile, today we have numbers 40 down through 36. Let’s see what they are made of! Ghostlightning did a post yesterday on shows that he finds difficult to write about in spite of the fact that he is a huge fan of them. I have shows like this myself as well as shows I just… never really brought up, even though I enjoyed them so much. Looking back, I didn’t used to really talk about shows much after the initial ‘I finished it’ post, and it was really only near the end of last year that I started not only to post about my impressions upon completion, but to really offer up discussion and thoughts on the show. That said, there are still shows I just never managed to mention. When I was fourteen years old, I was “so fcked up.” That’s probably why Neon Genesis Evangelion was the first anime to effect me on a personal level. |
