Omo has always wanted to do a list like this, and so have I. I think both of us have taken our frustrations out on the What Are You Watching/Reading This Month threads on Megatokyo for long enough. If he sticks to this monthly, I’m sure I’ll manage to follow. As for what this is a list of, it’s a nuttbladder-breaker list. There’s really no way of explaining that if you don’t understand, though Omo kind of tried. This is for January 2010.

10. Underwear. I’m not even sure it’s a sexual thing anymore, but I honestly think I’m starting to hope for the Chu-Bra girls to succeed. There’s a real passion for underwear in this show, and I’m getting passionate about underwear in response. I don’t know how hard it would be, exactly, to make me want to rally for underwear sensibility, but this show has nonetheless succeeded. And MS700 is certainly helping (like me, though, he needs to get back to posting!)

9. Fucked Up Sleep – is this really making my nuttbladder explode? It’s been a mixed bag of total shit and total win, but my constantly changing adverse sleep schedule has made me experience life as a whole in totally new ways. And it has also very much effected anime watching and blogging, so kudos to it for keeping things on their toes.

8. The Dullahan - I still prefer this name the most, even though ‘Celty’ is sort of cute. She’s insanely hot and awesome – I want to see more! I could even use a spin-off series! Give me all you can! Omo found these amazing cosplay pics, and I realize that the phrase ‘cosplay sex’ has never sounded more great.

7. Meta: 2-D Teleidoscope, The Doriinatrix, UltraEternalBlackout, and the Ghostlightning’s Birthday post. With great blogs shutting down left and right and others slowing down, 2DT is now my biggest blog to look forward too, and he only seems to post more and more frequently! I Am In Dire Need of a Butler is kind of more of an lollife blog than really an anime blog, but I love The Doriinatrix’s hilarious writing style and drawings. UEB is my new ‘protege’, who I love. He’s going to be an awesome blogger before long, and I love that he is helping breathe some life into S.A.D. As for GL’s birthday post, I never expected it to turn out as amazing as it did, but it was quite a sight to behold. So many thanks to everyone who made that possible!

6. Avatar – Fucking incredible movie that has made me realize how many joyless pretentious fuckwads are out there as well as been the first movie that I think probably could have been an adaption of an entire novel, to the tee. Instant classic?

5. Boogiepop-style Mindfucking – Durarara episode 2 was like the Boogiepop and Others adaption I always wanted – and maybe it’s all we’ll get? I understand it’s not that in-line with the style of the series and while episode 3 was cool and all… man, I’d love to see more of episode 2! It could be a classic episode if it goes unmatched, I suppose.

4. My increasing popularity – so what, I’m a narcissist! Still, though – this month my readership increased, more people have been talking about me, responding to me, following me around, and my ego has gone off the fucking charts. OEG helped, too. Just a great month to be me, ehehe.

3. Finishing Anime. HEY GAIS I FINISHED 4 SHOWS IN A FUCKING WEEK! Not since 2007 have I watched anime this fast, and even then, it was never THIS fast. I have been watching decent amounts all month, but in just the past week or so I watched all of Canaan, all of Bakemonogatari, all of Saki, most of Kuuchuu Buranko, and several episodes of a plethora of other shows. This feeling is nothing short of amazing, especially since unlike 2 years ago, I actually fully grasp everything I’m seeing. Homework done? We don’t talk about that here.

2. From the Diary of Sorami Kanata – I know I’m sucking my own dick a lot in this post, but I have so much fun blogging Sora no Woto! It’s not even that I think my posts are great (re-reading each I realize there are issues, like how they won’t make sense if you didn’t JUST watch the episode) but nonetheless, writing the posts and seeing them has filled me with endless joy. It’s such an amazing show, and posting on it just makes me love it that much more.

1. Hiiragi’s Dres-Up - Hiiragi takes the cake this season. Hanamaru isn’t my favorite show of winter (see above), but it’s excellent nonetheless and Hiiragi is certainly my favorite character of the season. I’ve written about this for the most part, but there’s so much to love. Her cosplay is mind-blowingly adorable, and always something to look forward to. Plus the acting!

Notably Absent: Shamefully, I haven’t started the new HidaSketch yet, because even-more-shamefully, I haven’t seen X365 yet. I know. I only just found out about this Renai Circulation full and I haven’t had time to give it many good listens, but I’ll try. Also, SNOOOOOW!! That’s the best word to describe the last 2 days here, but I don’t want to write about it till it’s over, and it ain’t over. I thought about putting something to do with Baka to Test in here, but I seem to have fallen behind rather quickly on that show. I think it’ll be a marathoner for me. In addition to ‘finishing anime’ I could also add ‘taking back shit I said in Spring 2009.’

Thanks for the post idea Omo, even if I took it a little more to personal things. But this will make the year-end posting SOOOO much easier~
