Pretty much the best thing I've ever drawn.
First of all, I’d like to apologize to everyone in the world with artistic talent. I am fully aware that this looks exactly like something you’d see in the fanart section of an Anime Insider magazine. I am not an artist. I cannot draw anime characters at all, and especially not from an angle. I’ve got a file of the 10 or so things I’ve drawn in the past year, only one of which is anything close to good, and even that’s not great.
Humbleness aside, though, this is easily the best thing I’ve ever drawn, and I’m quite proud of it. The fact that it looks even remotely feminine is a miracle. It wouldn’t even resenble Allenby if I hadn’t had all that reference material I collected in yesterday’s post, lol. Anyway, I’m all giddy about doing something so much as presentable, and it’s been a very long while since I did a fanart. I feel like I’ve made a major step in fandom! I plan to do a fanfiction after-story for Allenby in the future as well, so look forward to it!
Here’s the picture before coloring, since I was sared I’d fuck it up. Yes, there are glaring erasing marks and hideous problems. Please, no criticism XD
